I am so grateful for the kind words shared by the wonderful families I have worked with. Every message from my students and their parents is a joyful reminder of proud moments, big smiles, and the special successes we have celebrated together. My son has barriers to learning, particularly literacy and especially writing and spelling. He would shut down at the thought of having to write something. Sophie was really calm with him, starting slowly and learning from him the best way to help him. She understood his needs and targeted the lessons to him. Sometimes it seemed that it wasn’t like a lesson at all but he was learning all the time and more importantly gaining confidence in himself.

She would keep him focused and always have another way of showing him something if he didn’t understand. She helped him improve so much and we were over the moon with his SATs results. We were so pleased with his progress while being tutored by Sophie, and would recommend her tutoring.

I wholeheartedly recommend Sophie for tutoring. As a past teacher of my daughters, she demonstrated exceptional dedication, patience, and skill in fostering a love for learning.

Sophie was my daughter’s teacher in Year 3. She is passionate about children’s education and a wonderful teacher, engaging her pupils with little sayings that my daughter still uses to this day.

Sophie really has a great way of making learning fun. My daughter has been regularly attending the SATs booster group and it’s improved her knowledge and skills tremendously. She has grown in confidence which has allowed her to tackle questions she would have struggled with before. She got a glowing parent’s evening and the class teacher has really noticed a difference. Thank you so much for teaching our daughter. She has really loved being in your class this year. You are thoughtful and caring and put the children at the heart of all that you do. She has continued to make great progress and I feel she’s really matured and developed socially and emotionally. You’ve really allowed a sense of fun that not all teachers permit, and she has responded so positively to that. Thank you for all your hard work – we wish you a lovely summer holiday!

Sophie is amazing! She makes learning fun and is doing a great job inspiring an already enthusiastic little brain my daughter looks forward to Sophie’s sessions. Highly recommended – if I could rate higher I would.

Sophie has been absolutely amazing with my 6-year-old daughter. My daughter struggles to concentrate and she always manages to engage her fully. Crazy to say but it really is lots of fun for her. I have worked alongside Sophie at two different schools and she is hardworking, kind and one of the best teachers I have had the pleasure of working with. She always puts the children first and is a professional and caring person. I would love my child to be in her class one day. 

Sophie teaches my daughter and is fantastic. Always makes the lessons fun and interactive and I’ve never had any complaints from my 7-year-old. Definitely recommend if you’re on the fence about getting some additional help out of school.
